POSITION:  Financial Analyst                                                                      Location: Philadelphia, PA

REQ# HCA-471BG                                                                             Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,200

REQUIREMENTS:

This employment opportunity is with a Big Four audit, tax and advisory firm with the strongest growth record over the past decade which offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules. • Manage the month-end and year-end closing process which may include preparation and review of journal entries
  

• Review operating statements, anticipate items for follow-up, analyze unusual or significant variances, and report results to leadership as necessary
  

• Provide on-going financial analysis and business advice to leadership and help them to identify issues in their financial results and recommends improvements
  

• Participate in discussions with leaders related to results and areas of concern
  

• Interact with leadership to develop annual profit plans and to prepare quarterly   forecasts based on changing market conditions and historical performance
  

• Develop and distribute detailed cycle-end and month-end reports for leadership
  

• Participate in monthly area leadership meetings, presenting highlights of key financial performance metrics as needed
  

• Complete special projects as assigned, including ad hoc reports for leadership as needed
  

• Function as a team leader and performance manager for up to three financial  analysts as assigned
  

• Assist other members of the Finance and Accounting department as needed
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Five years of related Finance and Accounting experience
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college/university
  

• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint, and knowledge of data retrieval and reporting systems, such as Hyperion Financial Management and Business Objects
  

• Excellent time management, planning, and project skills
  

• Detail oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and ability to work on multiple    concurrent assignments
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  

• Proactive in day-to-day interactions as well as in formulating strategic solutions to problems
